True friends

I don’t know

Whether

The time was good or bad

I had some friends

They left me alone

When I lost everything

That I had!

Now I have regained all

That I had lost earlier

My friends have rejoined me again

Even friend's friends have also come

Aren't they a selfish lot?

We all witness in daily life

A friend in need is...

Insomnia lasts

Man and Woman

Woman is everywhere

She is a mother

She is a sister

She is a wife

She is a friend

She is a nice lady

She deserves all respect

Since the world exists

Because of a woman

We may curse a man

For all the wrong doings

The sins and the errors

But a man always stands

Besides a woman in

Every thick and thin of life

They can’t be separated

Because, there’s a man

Within every ‘woman’!

Consolation

People look into stars

To find their friends

Who had lost their lives

But they are seen no where

There are lot of stars in the sky and

Many people who have passed away earlier!

Those died on earth have left a mark

To decorate the sky as a shining star

Perhaps, that’s the best way

To console the death of

Nears and dears! 

A shining star

Man works hard

Throughout his life

To achieve

His cherished goals

And contributes all

For the welfare of society

And his country, but

Such a great visionary is

Like a shining star

That emits the brightest light!

Alas! A star that shines more

Does not last long!

She is strong and honest

Determined and committed

To the progress of her family

Being supportive and inspiring

She is behind the success of

Every man in the society

That’s a man

Prefixed with ‘wow’

She is woman!

Tears

Victory brings

Tears of joy

Defeat brings

Tears of pain

Meeting brings

Tears of contentment

Departure brings

Tears of separation

Death brings

Tears of grief

Birth of a child brings

Tears of happiness

Human life starts with tears

And ends with tears!

When I see a blooming flower

Where the birds will go

If we cut all trees

How shall we breathe

If all air gets polluted!

Where the sea level will go

If all ice melts at poles

Where the animals will go

If all forests are cut

How can we live

If there is no biodiversity!

Ever seen a stray dog

Running here and there

To get a piece of loaf

Seeking some shelter

To save it from ice fall

Barking at a passerby

To show his presence

Ever seen a stray dog

Running after strangers

To claim his ownership

Ever seen a stray dog

Offering a selfless service

To safeguard our street!

Success

Success has many takers

No one owns a failure

Unless luck favors one

There's no success for sure!

Many stories are told

People pose to be bold

Unless we taste a failure

Successes seldom allure!

Everyone likes success

When seen in dictionary

Success comes later

Than the failure access!  

I want to be ...!

I want to be a needle

That stitches relations

Not the one that pierces

To hurt someone!

I want to be the light

That enlightens the people

And not the sharp flash

That blinds people!

I want to be a man

That speaks of humanity

And not the one

Who practices cruelty!

I want to be the strong

That takes care of the helpless

But not the one

Who kills others with his might!

Twenty first century

That’s a twenty first century delight

No one mistaken but all are right!

Relations are without any meaning

Yet everybody calls through a sight!

Education has no value or career

The future of youth is still very bright!

The food is fatty and without the fiber

That is not an unusual plight!

Cooking is without the heat of fire

Yet the food is crispy and tight!

Children are living without the manners

And parents often get their ugly fright!

People have got a careless attitude

It’s not uncommon to witness a fight!

Tires are without the inflated tubes

Making all vehicles run very light!
